with Anchor of Strength.
Strengthening Families. Transforming Lives.
At Anchor of Strength, we believe every child deserves a safe, supportive, and loving home.
As a licensed foster care agency serving Texas, we exist to be a steady, compassionate presence in the lives of children and families navigating the foster care journey.
We partner with foster parents, community organizations, and child welfare professionals to create lasting, life-changing impact- one placement, one family, and one future at a time.
There are over 400,000 children in U.S. foster care and over 100,000 children available for adoption.
Foster-to-adopt is a path that begins with fostering and can lead to legal adoption. Children are first placed in your home as foster placements. If reunification efforts are unsuccessful and parental rights are terminated, you may have the opportunity to adopt the child already in your care.
Many children enter foster care with the hope of returning to their birth families. However, when reunification is not possible, some children become eligible for adoption— and that’s where you can help change their future.
Anchor of Strength is with you through every step of your journey— from your first phone call to post-adoption support.
